Location
The holiday site is on a steep slope west of the fishing village of  Aghia Galini above the road to the village of Melambes.
The location on the slope allows most remarkable views.
From each balcony and from almost every other place on the property, one can see the village and the port of Aghia Galini, the Messara Bay including Matala on the opposite coast, the Libyan Sea and the off-shore Paximadia Islands, and the most picturesque rock of Harakas.

This unique location however requires a rental car as Aghia Galini and the beach there are about 2 kms away.
In the village there are several supermarkets (one of them with an international range of products), cash terminals, barbers and hairdressers, baker's and butcher's stores, a fish store, a pharmacy, a medical center, jewel stores and other shops.
In addition, there are many restaurants and tavernas, the most of them by the port.

During the tourims season, boats go to the palm beach of Preveli several times per day, which for sure is the most comfortable way of approaching this dream beach.
Iraklion airport is 91 kms away, Hania airport 120 kms.
With respect to the country roads' winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
